Bold event branding


We developed the brand identity for the Graduation Show 2026 of Mediadesign University Berlin (MDH). Under one bold, contemporary system, it puts students at the center.


At its core, the identity builds on everyday objects identified by students themselves as essential to their lives—MacBooks, energy drinks, USB sticks. Reframed as cultural artifacts, these objects become canvases layered with custom stickers, alternative packaging, and embedded details that carry messages, inside jokes, and hidden references—while also conveying key event information.


Inspired by Y2K album aesthetics, the identity combines explosive color, expressive forms and a raw, playful energy. Loud, personal, and unapologetically collective.

Stickers

The sticker pack pushes the identity into the streets. Appearing across the city, it creates unexpected moments of visibility and turns everyday surfaces into touchpoints for the event.

The result

The result is a multilayered visual language that unfolds across media. While digital formats extend the reach, the focus lies on a cohesive cross-media system that peaks on-site—where physical applications, artifacts, and interactions activate the identity in real space. A dedicated MDH Allstars sticker pack adds a guerrilla layer to the concept, circulating as an independent communication tool and amplifying visibility beyond official channels.

The event

The fully branded venue showcased standout final projects from all programs, drawing a crowd of students, friends, family, and industry guests for a night of music and drinks. The first 100 attendees received exclusive MDH Allstars goodie bags featuring stickers, a screenprinted poster, a booklet, and the screenprinted tote bag. Red Bull supported the event as a sponsor.
